A knifes edge

The term razor focus means that all the metal of the razer has been shaved away to an extremely fine point. All the burs have been buffed out and it has been whet on the left and on the right side of the blade until it has been made sharp.

Ecclesiastes 10:10

10 If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.

We need to whet our minds and hearts on the word of God so that the knicks and dull points can be honed into focus on what God wants us to focus on.

Proverbs 4:27 KJV

20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.

25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

I hope that I can get to a place that I can be honed by Gods word to stay on point and have a razor focus, because this world needs men who can hear from God, and lead their family. I hope that in the days to come I can learn to lay my heart and mind on God’s workbench so that he can give me a razor-sharp edge that mirrors the sharpness of his own word.

Hebrews 4:12

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
