It is very easy for me to loose all track of time as I study a topic. I go all in. I want to pick out every little nuance of the subject and I often get distracted by a fascinating subtopic well before I even realize it. At some point I am shaken back to reality and have to stop looking into stuff. Most of the time I am in pursuit of something that is important to my everyday life, and I want to get to the bottom of it. It usually points me to a better understanding of who God is. I want to be in the never ending, all consuming pursuit of the person of God.
2 Timothy 2:15 AV 1611
“Studie to shewe thy selfe approued vnto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly diuiding the word of trueth.”
If you don’t know the God of the Bible, you can learn of him by reading the Bible. they testify of who he is. There is only one way to have a restored relationship with God, and that is through Jesus Christ, who is and was God and gave himself as substitute – taking our punishment for our sins. You can find out more by reading Born Again in our Resources tab on our home page.
